Karl Lagerfeld may be better known for his immense contribution to contemporary fashion, but the German designer is also a noted photographer, with a sharp eye for black and white contrasts and the ultimate use of lighting that gives his photography an old Hollywood glamour.
I was invited to the opening of a very small photographic exhibition of the maestro’s in conjunction with Men’s Fashion Week at.. where else? But the Chanel store at Marina Bay Sands.
Singapore Biennale @ the old Kallang Airport
“Featuring 60 artists from 30 countries, the third Singapore Biennale, titled ‘Open House’, will be open to the public from 13 March to 15 May 2011. Over half of the artists are creating new commissions or premiering new works. ‘Open House’ is presented across four exhibition venues, each with their own particular character, that draw upon emblematic spaces in Singapore: Housing Development Board flats (Singapore Art Museum and 8Q), shopping centres and night markets (National Museum of Singapore), and international air and sea ports (Old Kallang Airport). Major art works at Marina Bay will amplify individual experience in the city.”

I too like this music but I think their band name doesn’t suit them at all – sounds like a crappy emo boy band -_- Something little more enigmatic/chic would be better

I’m a huge fan of karl Lagerfeld. I’m super jealous of his house, stacked from floor to ceiling with books, and the fact that he collects deisgner furniture!
