A Little Lovin’ 14th Feb Happiness

A Valentine’s present for my parents.

I know my dad likes him and has his CDs. I really like Engelbert’s songs too! I’m an old-fashioned soul that way.

Delicious heart-shaped raspberry tarts by my sister.
Checked into the Capella at Sentosa.

Set amidst a lush, vibrant rainforest with fields of calm rolling green fields welcoming you as you drive in, the resort is a calming and unique oasis of tranquility. The jewel and centerpiece is a restored colonial building from the 1880s – magnificently perched atop a hill. The fusion of past and contemporary is reflected in the architecture and luxury interiors.

I liked that it was really quiet, making it a true holiday respite from the city life. No hoards of tourists and screaming kids that you would find in say, Marina Bay Sands.
The villa was spacious and wonderfully furnished, with a private plunge pool.

Breakfast… with milo in a wine glass

The pool was nice and surprise, no other people to fight share with. My only gripe though was the rough jagged texture of the pool tiles. Kind of painful!

I love our street hawker food so the newly opened Malaysian Food Street in Resorts World was a must-try!

Designed to evoke the look and feel of walking down the streets of Malaysia, the food street is lined with true-to-detail street stalls, facades of shophouses, old buildings and 1950s old-fashioned wooden furniture to set the mood. The highlight, of course, is the food – from the famous KL Hokkien Mee to the mouthwatering Heun Kee Claypot Rice, it’s a real feast.

It’s raining oil…
Yum. Sadly the Heun Kee Claypot Rice was sold out, I’m planning to go back again to get my fix!

Byebye idyllic life, back to working reality.

Smooches. xoxo

capella is amazing…
Hey Dawn! I really like your blog. I used to think you must suck cos xiaxue is always bullying you and saying mean shit. But after following you for some time I think you’re getting picked on because people are jealous of you, or just too immature (xx’s fans are mostly kids) to appreciate your class and quality.
I’m glad to see you’re a strong woman who’s held her head high so far. And looking more gorgeous every time! Keep up the great work!
Love from a sincere reader.
I love the food, I am starving to see that. I like the close up photo too, the beautiful eyes and tasty foods.
Good, filial daughter …
Hi Dawn, I loooooooooooooooooove your style. Your outfits are always so fabulously chic!! And you’re gorgeous!! Is it possible to start a blog solely dedicated to your daily outifts? Just one full body photo per day of what you’re wearing? That’d be great! Ah, but I do reckon you’re a busy lady, so I guess I’ll have to keep going back and forth between entries to see what you’re wearing.
I had no idea about the Malaysian Food Streets in Resorts World… Your blog is worth looking into as you’re giving us good insights about unique places in Singapore. Good thing I’m not one who got badly influenced by Xiaxue. The more I see your blog the more I see you’re not the kind of person she makes you out to be. She is a sore loser since the lawsuit and I’m glad you sued her. In fact you should also have sued her for spreading lies about your boobs being fake!
Dawn, why don’t you make another blog in Blogspot or WordPress? No one really goes to Xanga anymore (Sorry to all Xanga users >.<) I think your blog will have more view there
(Except for the fact XX’s blog is also in Blogger. But who cares? LOL)I hope you read this. And nice blog too! You’re making me hungry nao :/
