Resurrection Sunday: Seeing the Face of Jesus
Here is a compelling video to watch in celebration of today’s occasion.
It is a History Channel documentary featuring the work of top-level scientists and computer artists who use the latest technology to recreate the face of Jesus in 3D based on the Shroud of Turin.
The Shroud of Turin, a blood-stained linen that many believe was the burial cloth of Jesus Christ, has been questioned for centuries on its authenticity. The ancient shroud contains a faint impression of the front and back of a human body, along with blood, dirt and water stains. But new rigorous scientific tests have served to verify it, and the team featured on “The Real Face Of Jesus” have no doubt the Shroud is real.
“Is this the artifact of a real person or not? Definitely it is,” said Ray Downing, the main digital illustrator featured.
He added, “I have a lot of information about that face and my estimation is we’re pretty darn close to what this man looked like.”
What I found most amazing, was the team’s scientific explanation for how such an interesting image ended up on the shroud 2000 years ago.
Hint: it has to do with light rays. And without the advance equipment we have today, back then the effect could only have been the result of………
When I saw this documentary last year, I was blown away, and it reaffirmed my beliefs in Jesus’s complete, finished work at the cross. Plus, gotta admit He was pretty good-looking
Tomorrow I shall talk more about the significance of Jesus’s death and resurrection, and what it means for us who believe, because it is truly such Good News! So happy!
Enjoy your Easter Sunday xoxo

Ok dawn
I really admire u, not only beautiful but so religious too. Keep up the good work. And plz also checkout about how scary the illuminati is in the music industry.
Very interesting documentary. I thought the Shroud was just a fake but this has changed my mind. Applaud you for being open and sharing about your faith.
The shroud is a fake…it has been proven to be only a few hundred years and could not have possibly been the burial shroud of so called Jesus. The type of fabric and weave were not even available in the time of Jesus which totally negates all further claims that dazzle the uninformed.
This is another attempt to keep a bronze age myth alive by religious people DESPERATE for “evidence” that their beliefs are real and out to make a few million dollars in the process from television.
Christianity is the belief that is you telepathically accept a Jewish ZOMBIE as your master and symbolically eat his flesh and drink his blood that he will let you live forever by removing an evil force from your soul put there because a talking snake told a rib less women to eat fruit from a magical tree.
You are not only a beauty with brains, but readers can see that you’re at peace with yourself unlike some other blogger that claim to have a awesome life but matured readers can tell that she lacks peace and intelligence. I do not see anything wrong with you suing her if she deserved it, it only makes her look like a sore loser.
The shroud is fake, if you call yourself a CHRISTIAN, I DON’T SEE HOW YOU CAN BELIEVE THAT THE SHROUD IS REAL. You must be from one of those mega churches who most probably reads and enjoys DAN BROWN. Jesus doesn’t need such scientists to prove HIS EXISTENCE. READ THE BIBLE.

You must be from one of those mini churches that only knows how to criticise mega churches.
The shroud could be a fake, and so are you if you claim to be a “Christian”. Yeh, read the Bible and learn how to behave yourself instead of judging mega churches and others. If your mini church is so perfect, it wouldn’t be so mini..
