With Dark Knight Rises being the movie du jour (oh don’t worry, no one dies at the end guys… really…), this time I’m taking sartorial inspiration from one of the comic franchise’s most enduring characters – Catwoman.
Yes I lovingly did this montage myself!I vividly remember Michelle Pfeiffer and Halle Berry do their turn as the feline villain, but I’ve got to say Anne Hathaway’s interpretation beats them all in terms of style.
Costume designer Lindy Hemming shares that Anne’s outfit was designed to be sleek and light but functional, and that those cute car ears were inspired by jewelers. “Christopher Nolan and I were trying to work out how we were going to keep it modern and trendy and cool. We started making our version of night-vision goggles — or magnification goggles — when she’s doing her cat burgling. We made it so that when it goes up, it falls into ears.”
The kicker has got to be those *literally* killer heels!
Even when she’s not creeping around at night, her wardrobe is minimal old school glamour – lots of classic black, pearls, a seductive bold red lip. And true to Catwoman form, always fitted and sexily slicked up.

You and your sister are simply gorgeous and I admire the many different things you can do and your “on the go” attitude and active lifestyle that does not just centers around you as I recall you mentioned before that you did mission work in the Philippines and sponsored some fashion events to support charity.
True beauty comes from what’s inside your heart and mind. I must admit that I used to look down on people who had plastic surgery mainly because of xiaxue and how she boasts about it and constantly pats herself in her back for her “honesty” when she’s not that great looking (especially without makeup) and neither is she totally honest to begin with. But my mindset has changed since reading your blog. You are one who is not obsessed with your looks nor boastful of your achievements nor greedy for money and sponsorships, and that is quite a pleasant relief and something your blog readers should take note. It’s sad that ignorant narrow-minded people keep putting you down based on past mistakes. Hope they will come to their senses when the same thing happens to them and they get treated the same way they treat you…

@onida - I really thing you’re right. Look, I know that Dawn commited so many mistakes she did that people tag her down as someone “fake” and bitchy, but let’s not forget that most of these doings were done in the past and it seems that she’s no longer bothering anyone anymore. On the other hand, Xiaxue just admitted on Twitter last year (last year, which meant RECENT) that she loved insulting Dawn and she found it addictive. And now she had to face a lot of haters for insulting her, and oh what a childish way of handling her bullies by bitching back on her blog when she has been a BIGGER bitch for the longest time for insulting people like Dawn, who fortunately had never stooped down to her level.
When I actually pointed that out on a Youtube video some idiot actually flamed me for it and keeps pointing out that Dawn is fake, fake, fake. Call her fake all you want, bitch. But I’d rather take an ex-bitch who doesn’t do that same shit anymore than having a bitch of a midget who also has her own hypocrisy by being a cyberbully when she herself doesn’t like being bullied. That’s called KARMA.

With more than half million twitter followers, it goes without saying that Merry Riana must be the top blogger in Singapore. CPIB has done a good job in exposing many corruption cases lately, next in line should be Nuffnang. It appears that they are misleading both readers and advertisers by claiming that xiaxue is the top blogger and most influential blogger.

S’pore bloggers all got plastic surgeries and the latest to go under the knife is Peggy Heng. After that, still want to splash make-up on face like wayang and scare people! What’s the use of all the plastic surgeries when still have to paint face like that…. It’s no wonder Igloo the bunny looks more like a scary cat !
I used to be a big admirer and fan of XX and even aggressively stood up for her and defended her whenever she was flamed by haters.
Then I grew suspicious as I realized that XX was frequently losing her temper and using vulgarities for no apparent reason. I began to do research on her to find out more about her and to my disgust and horror, discovered that she was not quite the person she makes herself out to be. She almost came across as someone who was mentally unstable – possessed by hatred, greed, pride, jealousy and revenge!
I urge XX’s fans to read and understand both sides to every story before jumping to conclusions.
Judging and hating someone solely based on what XX writes in her blog is unwise and immatured. Many other sites in the internet have other information about her which XX omits in her blog.
One major thing I noticed is that the only first person who proudly claimed that XX is “honest” is none other than XX herself – she, herself and she!
Whatever she refuses to acknowledge and admit, she will conveniently sweep under the carpet and cover up hoping that no one will notice. One good recent example is her failure to admit that she lied about Dawn Yang’s boobs being fake. I also have other examples which I will expose in due time ….
Like I said, I used to be a big fan of XX and couldn’t care much about DY before as I heard nothing good about DY.
I was young, foolish, unwise and narrow-minded.. I must say that I ended up feeling rather CHEATED when I discovered the truths about XX.
These days, I try not to be anyone’s fan. I read DY’s blog but only casually. No one is outright and honest about everything especially in personal blogs.
I must say that the biggest cheat I have discovered recently is actually NUFFNANG, lying and misleading readers that XX is the top blogger and most influential blogger. This is based on a strange system where her facebook fans can vote for her every two hours. Perhaps if I hadn’t discovered the awful truths about XX, I would also have voted for her..
I hope XX’s fan will grow up and exercise some human intelligence and wisdom before trusting and believing everything she says. I do not want you to make the same mistake I made and be left to feel like a fool in the end for supporting the wrong person..
XX has very FEW friends (namely Sophie, Qiu, Kay and a few others), and this is the same group that she hangs out with the rare times she steps out of her house. She is extremely “nice” to these few friends for obvious reasons – she doesn’t want to lose the FEW friends she has. But the moment a hater or competitor like Dawn Yang shows up, she turns into a malicious monster.
