Dear Dawn Yang,
I read your tribute to Michael Jackson on Stomp, and I totally agree with you in every way. I didn't care to register to write there, thus I came to your blog to leave my thoughts. I read other blogs left by the other Stomp contributors, and was surprised at their ignorant and callous comments. Reading your entry reaffirmed my belief from before that while you may not be perfect, that is completely normal for us as human beings, and you are far better a person than those people that slam you give you credit for. Furthermore, you defended him and stood up for what you believe in, knowing that the many ignorant people would just NOT be able to understand your viewpoint.

I feel that as I learn more about you, I feel more inspired by you. The reason why you were able to understand MJ's plight is, I feel, because you have experienced pain in your life caused by nasty lies, rumours, etc. I do not mean I think *everything* written about you is false, but I get it that while some may be true, they have been twisted and exagerated in the most malicious way, and other rumours are completely false altogether. I too have been through pain and turmoil, nothing near what you have, but it has really hurt me, made me self conscious, and everytime I am around these people who did these things to me, I feel immediately smaller. It saddens me that I allow myself to feel that way.

When I read a recent interview of yours, you said you just ignore everything people say 'cos ignorance is bliss, and you go on living the best life you can live, and that it is because you are strong in yourself that you are able to do so. I admire your strength deeply. Maybe it comes from God (I attend New Creation, I am assuming you too, based on some times you write), and I wish I too could be as strong as you are, or at least you appear to be.
