Photo Booth is a cool feature program with picture and video-taking capabilities that I got acquainted with tonight on my spanking new MacBook Pro.
Opening ceremony... The moment of truth.....
I never used to bother with my previous ones, but I just had to get a nice laptop sleeve this time round.
Introductory video:
I spent like an hour geeking out and doingthe most incredibly inane things.
More zany photos.....
The Mirror effect: Superhero Toys to the rescue!
Yay, I definitely scored with this new gadget.
Help! Bug alert!!!
Someone.... get the bug.... OFF ...ME~!!!! (they tell me I won't have this problem with the Mac OS)
Moments of contemplation
Now it starts to get crazier.....
We devotin' full time to floatin' Under the Sea
Tripping out ~!@#$%^&*
Somehow this reminded me of Minnie Mouse?
That's my handsome green boyfriend behind me. ♥ You know how they say couples tend to start to look alike?
In a parallel universe, Dawn Yang is an ogre who has a penchant for devouring rabbit meat.
It is customary to eat the ears first. Besides the tangy ear wax much craved for, ogres generally have very small ears in relation to their huge mass, hence they believe bunny ears will help improve their rather pathetic sense of hearing. Munch munch munch. Mmmm.
I also tried my hand at the MacBook's video editing program, iMovie!
The thing about Apple is that their interfaces are extremely user-friendly and fun. This holds true even for the iPhone. I've seen my friends working in Final Cut Pro and got scared out of my wits by how complex it looked. iMovie however, was pretty straightforward and simple. I managed to do a short little (*silly*) video pretty quick for a first-timer, probably in about half an hour, with intro/end themes plus music. No cutting or big editing work here, but I figured how to do so easily from the tutorial. So I reckon ANYONE could use iMovie in a snap ! I'm still getting the hang of it though. Looking forward to learning more.
I filmed using the Photo Booth program. One of the effects in it is a roller coaster motion graphic effect. It would look really cool, but unfortunately in my case it gets quite splotchy and distorted. This happens if your background is anything but a green screen I suppose.
