  • Let There Be Light

Was doing a photo shoot for Lexi Lyla in the studio last night, and these were some random fun shots we ended up taking.

Can you believe it was 3am? Looks like a bright & sunny 3pm!

Did y’all had a great labor day weekend? :)

I’m toiling away for Lexi Lyla’s 1st anniversary next week! Excited!

Hope I find some time to write about the upcoming elections…there’s a lot I want to say as I feel very strongly about it. Singapore needs a few more opposition seats in parliament to check and push the PAP; with such credible candidates this year, there is no better time to give them a chance to prove themselves than now.

The mainstream media has clearly been biased in their slate of election news (figures!), I suggest you read Yahoo! News for more objective reporting.

I urge Singaporeans who haven’t done so to listen to the opposition’s rallies and speeches, it is our duty and responsibility to vote well. The power for change, no matter how small, is in our hands.

    xoxo

  • omg you are so so beautiful..

  • yea agree with you Dawn, no more of PAP nonsense!

  • Just knew you’d always take the opposite stand to Xiaxue. Do you honestly agree with the Opposition or are you just trying to be as different to Xiaxue as possible? Voting is no small matter, you really gotta be honest…

On a different note, I do think that your photos are beautiful.

  • just wondering why your eyes always look bloodshot and irritated in your pix? other than that, they are beautiful.

  • any solutions to dry eyes?
    love color contacts but eyes get red after a while;
    beautiful 3am shots! (:

  • omg. FINALLY. a singaporean blogger who isn’t completely pro-PAP!

thank god for your unbiased view. I really hope oppositions get more seats in parliament.

  • @kittykat -
    I’ve always wondered this too.

  • @Meldoy - i don’t think she’s doing it on purpose. trust me, im not one of her fans or anything. it’s just refreshing to hear an unbiased view. i do love XX’s blog entries but i think in this case, she is way too pro-PAP and i think she should realise that she is quite ‘famous’ and dare i say, ‘influential’ figure amongst the younger voters and should start educating her readers (and herself) instead of shoving PAP down their throats because PAP is what she grew up with. Times have change.

  • Outstandlngly beautiful. And good to know you’re smart too.

  • @delia - wah i didn’t know xiaxue is so influential. do you mean voters are incapable of discerning which party to vote for? please don’t think we are all so ignorant (like you)

anyway hi dawn! i saw on your twitter and got excited said you had a blog post.. but it’s just pictures of you! wish you’d write more :D

  • @Meldoy -  COMPLETELY AGREE WITH THE FIRST PART!

  • @kittykat - @verapriscilla - @Harry -  prolonged wear of colored contacts do make eyes dry and red, guess she was shooting till 3am so dats why :)

Love these beautiful photos and your outspoken political stand Dawn! Write that election entry!

  • WOW. next time when i’m gonna get double eyelids, i’ll show my surgeon your pix (: It’s a compliment(:

  • @imia -
Not just in these pictures. Her eyes always look sore.

  • @harry -

    Erm…do you always see her?

  • @FL -
I meant when i see her pictures i have noticed her eyes look bloodshot and irritated. I just wondered why. Maybe its due to her contacts? i just wondered why?

  • hihi can u post more (b4 the election) on your views on the oppositions. Would really like to hear from you more. Jy(:

  • Wow, all I’ve gotta say is 1 word. GORGEOUS :)

  • Hi Dawn,

I must confess I’m not an avid reader of your blog. But after reading Xiaxue’s ignorant posts, I suddenly feel quite afraid of what she’s doing to influence the swing voters.

Dawn, I’m appealing to you to write a post to counter what Xiaxue has written before polling day tomorrow. Not point for point, of course, but your own view as to why you’re pro-opposition. Both of you are extremely popular bloggers, and I’m sure you will be able to swing back at least half of those that Xiaxue has won over through pure irrationality.

The future of our nation is at stake. I shan’t reiterate what has been said thus far, but know this: by 2016, all hope of any opposition will be lost, for the PAP is sure to tighten the laws and regulations of Singapore politics to benefit themselves. That includes the mass-importing of new citizens, the enabling of the PR vote, and other means that I shall not elaborate on.

Believe me when I say that the future of Singapore lies in your hands.

I’m afraid of what lies ahead for us.

    Soli.

  • Can you do something about the pop up on your blog?! It’s really annoying T.T

  • yes dawn , pls counter back XX. Yes we will be working on the ground. But i really hope you can do a post. Pls.

  • I can’t help but find your cheeks incredibly odd to look at.

  • wow I love all these photos. I love you, thank you so much for sharing it with us……I’ve gotta say is three word. GORGEOUS :) , beautiful and wonderful
